It’s a late post but it’s been a very busy day so I’m going to keep this short. 7th day was pretty good. I had a tasty brunch that was a higher than normal points value, but knowing I wouldn’t eat until dinner, made sense. I did pretty well at the holiday party. It was buffet so I purposely didn’t get a ton of food. I did end up drinking a bit more than I anticipated, but hey, it was a splurge evening. Overall I felt like I enjoyed the party without overdoing it.
Stressing a bit because I have to fly to DC again for 25 hours tomorrow. Less worried about food, more worried about delays with winter storms. Oy vey….send good thoughts to the weather gods.

Haven’t been good about writing. Went to Bakersfield for Thanksgiving – Ken’s mom is 96 – the food was bad, but had a lot salt. That is the bad think about eating other people’s food or eating out – I think. One week I lost 4# and the next wk I gained .5#. I hope I take more off this Tue. I rejoined the gym, but was not able to hike my 3 days a week with a sick great-granddaughter. Jessica is 8 and lives with us. Will post more after Tue.
It’s so hard to control when you’re not at home/out of town. Sometimes I’ll make my own food when I travel somewhere – but I know it can be challenging, not wanting to offend anyone.
Hang in there! You can get back on track!
