Had a decent run to start off day 47. As I continue to train for this half marathon, I definitely can tell my endurance is getting better as well as being able to increase my speed on my short runs.
I had made plans to go to a new (to me) pizza place with my friends Andrei and Gene. So I was proud of myself for skipping the pizza that was provided to our team at lunch and instead, do a salad. It was tough….the pizza looked great. But I knew I would have pizza in the evening and so it helped in skipping it at lunch.
Still feel like I’m making up for a weekend of not great “on plan” eating but I’ll get there…
