Today was a good day, despite the fact that I did end up having 2 drinks instead of my daily allotment of 1. But I’m not really feeling guilty. I don’t drink much anyway, and I was still pretty close to my points target, even with the beer. And I did 90 minutes of essentially straight cardio (with some weights) so I felt like I earned it.
I think the things that I’m learning are that structure helps me and it’s definitely set me up to be successful so far in losing weight. But that it’s okay to go outside of the lines on occasion, especially when I’ve been pretty good and had a great work out. Another 4 mile run is coming up later today. Looking forward to it!

You are doing good! It sounds like it is working for you. I seem to allow myself to be sabotaged a lot. Last night I took 5 grandkids and 1 great gk to get our tree. Afterwards, we hit fast food. That is dynamite for me. After that, a meeting with dessert, and then home for a couple of glasses of wine with Ken. The points really do add up. Going to a Christmas party at Marian Yoder’s tonight and will try to watch it. I’m taking a WW vegetable from a PPlus cookbook.
